My dachshund puppy ate an entire military miniature-a lead one. (This was back in the 1980s before military miniatures had to switch to some other metal because of health concerns, I think the new metal is a compound ending in -ium, but anyway...). The “miniature” was nearly 4” tall , and it was of a French hussar smoking a pipe while sitting in a chair. All we ever found of the hussar was his head and part of the chair...The dachshund puppy (who lived to be nearly 15 years old) ate and presumably digested the rest of the figure.
