But coffee and smokes go together like two peas in a pod. What’s a little extra smoke and fire to make a smoker’s day?

Good thing we’ve been boycotting them forever, lol.

I do not think the manufacturer in question is GE or a Chinese supplier to GE. GE sold their small appliance unit to Black & Decker in the late 1980s or early 90’s. B&D in turn offloaded it shortly thereafter to a Miami based company (Aplica - now called something else.)
I suspect the subject coffee maker is from a small appliance company who contracts with a manufacturer in China and licenses the name GE.

I'm 64...in my early 20's I bought two or three things made by GE...they were all crap. I vowed then to never buy another GE product, and I have kept that promise to myself.
They come out with some innovative ideas, and slick looking gadgets, but they never hold up...they are obviously designed by liberals...style over substance.

I guess that coffee maker didn’t get its UL rating this time around! Or did it?

I don’t buy GE products. I have not bought them for the last three years. In the pass I had bought three GE gas stoves and two refrigerators. If it made by GE, I pass it by.
