ABQ is turning out to be interesting. Much more humid than I expected — we were at about 28%RH today, close to the monthly average (low point of the year). I was surprised this morning (the first morning outside the hotel) how humid it felt on the walk to the convention center. By noon it was BRIGHT sun and quite a bit warmer, but not as dehydrating as Wednesday. Then again, much less wind.

I like ABQ. As long as I don’t have to winter there. Snow is a four-letter word!

Mornings are usually “humid” in the desert. It’s not uncommon for us to have around 30+% at 0600, but as the sun rises, the humidity will drop.

Don’t let the lack of wind fool you. When you become thirsty, you are already dehydrated.

Sky Harbor airport comes to mind but I think that might be Phoenix.
