“It’s delicious with peanut butter,” says dweeby Pat.

96 here, clouds coming up over Lake Park again, maybe it’ll rain this time.

No, he was talking about something else.

Too hot to cook supper. Elen went to the pool instead of eating, and now DP has gone over there. The byos are watching something computer-generated about extinct animals.

Bill and Tom are on a rafting trip with the Boy Scouts. The girls will have swim team pictures in the morning. They brought home a sample the other night; it was cute, and the price is reasonable.

Might be fixing to rain here. Was supposed to rain in the 5 - 6 PM slot but didn’t. Felt a few little splashes during the walk back to the hotel after dinner. It felt nice.

ABQ is turning out to be interesting. Much more humid than I expected — we were at about 28%RH today, close to the monthly average (low point of the year). I was surprised this morning (the first morning outside the hotel) how humid it felt on the walk to the convention center. By noon it was BRIGHT sun and quite a bit warmer, but not as dehydrating as Wednesday. Then again, much less wind.

I like ABQ. As long as I don’t have to winter there. Snow is a four-letter word!

Mornings are usually “humid” in the desert. It’s not uncommon for us to have around 30+% at 0600, but as the sun rises, the humidity will drop.

Don’t let the lack of wind fool you. When you become thirsty, you are already dehydrated.

Sky Harbor airport comes to mind but I think that might be Phoenix.

Don’t worry. My schedule doesn’t get me out much on these trips, and I have acquired the water bottle I always have handy at these meetings, they’re so dry. *\;-)

Ladeeez and Gennilmen, we has a winner! Sky Harbor is indeed PHX.

Interesting though -- I received an e-mail from my carrier about being upgraded on the flight home (both flights, I learned when I checked in order to get the seats I prefer). I have never seen a first-class cabin on a plane with 1-2 seating (one seat port, two starboard). But then again it might be 2-2 in coach, I don't recall.

I'm beginning to like ABQ too. Despite its lack of restaurants downtown. And the number of police cars I've seen on the main drag (Route 66) worries me a bit.

But the architecture is interesting. I am beginning to see patterns here, a little more than the initially obvious.

We had thunder last night, but I don’t think it rained. I’d better water the plants again!

I’m going to put some additional soil in the herb bed and the planters on the pergola. They’ve settled.

I have no more knowledge of what it did last night. Once back in the room, I was in for the night.

Up earlier than I wanted to be, but sunlight was coming in around the curtains. Maybe I'll look into a sit-down breakfast, with eggs.

Good morning, folksss!
The “Henderson Executive Airport” used to be Sky Harbor Henderson. I liked the old name better. It doesn’t sound so stilted.

DP made me an egg sandwich. Then I took the girls to the pool to get their team picture. It’s currently 88 and overcast. I told Elen and Sally they can stay at the pool until 11.
