Nice story of what your husband would like to do! Good idea! Same as post#2306, can you see snow on the mountains, like perhaps Lake Arrowhead?

His dream renewed my dream.........
My dream (if I had lots of money) would be to live on a little hill with beautiful trees, lots of weeping willows, and a stone path leading down to my own dock - and little boat waiting, on the small lake - stocked with fishing gear, ready to go.
The grounds would be lush grass, surrounded by the most beautiful flower beds. There would be several picnic tables, where one could sit, and string beans, peel apples, or pit cherries and chat with neighbors. On Sunday, those tables would be filled with big plates of fried chicken, bowls of potato salad, pots of baked beans, and homemade apple pies - with places to sit for all friends and loved ones.
The house would be relatively small, but with a porch surrounding the entire residence. Lots of swings and rockers and gliders, to overlook the lake, while dreaming of the yesteryears, and reliving sweet memories of days gone by.
It would have bird houses, bird feeders and bird baths, everywhere. The birds would be singing all day, the crickets would be chirping at dusk, and the lightening bugs would sparkle in the darkness - as the moon would graciously leave it’s silver streak on the water.
I can picture it plain as day - I used to think it was Branson, or nearby, in MO. But, (sigh) as the years are now quickly passing, I realize my dream will never come true - but hey! Dreamin’s fun - ain’t it?
Now - tell us YOUR dream ‘wish’. PRETTY PLEASE????
