That sound you are hearing may be your cooler fan gone out. If so, your computer will get too hot and self destruct. Best find someone to have a look at it. My puter made that noise and son had to install a new fan. Whatever it is, it’s a warning sign that something is amiss.
Thank you, Nan! I’ve never heard a siren sound on a computer! I thought it was Yahoo but it kept on when I got to Amy’s. I put it on mute to shut it up.
My son is the expert and does all my computer work for me...bless him...so I’ll check with him as soon as I’m in touch with him. He’s working today and I’m going to nap a little while. Our weather is so fickle today..the sun shines a few minutes and then it gets dark. I have some things to finish outside but they will wait.
