If I had a pool I would get a buch of Border Collies just so I could watch that every day.

"This would be a great help!"

Yes, it would have been.....all those years ago. Poor lil thang. I still feel responsible!

But, God knows I tried to save it!

For the shear Creative Brilliance of a Border Collie, combined with the Insane Energy of a Jack Russell terrier, There is no more delightful and Challenging Blend than the new And IMPROVED "JACK BORDER TERROR DOG!" These remarkable creatures will bring the excitement of having an Evil Mad Scientist living Right Under Your Roof With You. You will thrill daily to her ever changing naughty tricks, and you will constantly be amazed as she defeats Electric Fences by Interrupting the Flow of Electrons, Learns How to Change Channels on the Remote when you are not looking, And Play Poker for salted peanuts by Candlelight after FPL has cut off your power for three weeks. The JACK BORDER TERROR DOG has also been known to herd school children into little groups, organize the other neighborhood canines into GANGS, understands that Firecrackers are man-made and Thunder ISN'T, and can be taught to sing Klingon opera.
RIP, Torey The Jack Border Terror Dog

Fate walks a different path
From he who wants and he who hath
For fate a parallel course abstains
Unmake the part so whole regains

The greater truths we cannot see
That is the price of soul’s will free
So fate must arbiter for the loss
And thus repays life of the cost

That is the curse of living mind
A pox upon the hope to find
The grand design the final plan
The knowledge that can unmake man

The knowledge of the whole you see
Is just enough to bind what’s free
And so on fate we must depend
To see our hopes and thus defend

And find the way from part to whole
In ignorance fate finds our soul
And matches part to part until
The whole enjoins and parts fulfill

That is the role of fate you see
To understand the whole that we
In part to part can never find
In tangent lines into the mind

Fate walks along a different strand
Than human minds can understand
And that is indeed the grand design
For free will to be thus so benign

For knowledge is a paradox
And power is a jailer’s box
So blinders are in scheme intact
And fate steps in and so reacts

To keep the balance that must remain
Between knowledge and soul’s domain
And so a prayer that fate commits
And finds the whole and thus permits
