OK, I am a Christian, and I know this is a Buddhist Symbol, But I use it to teach the difference between the Major and Minor scales in Music.
Happy, Bright, Triumphant, Joyous, and Frankly open Music is written in Major Scales (Yang the White side, but there are still some minor chords in there, the black spot)
And spooky, dark, romantic, questioning, contemplative, or sad tunes are written in minor keys (The dark side or Yin, but still has some Bright notes, the White spot)
Kids who take karate or Tai Kwon Do recognize this immediately and have no problem understanding the difference between major and minor keys.

Happy Friday, Conor.
I'm joining these patriots in supporting our troops today and everyday.
Thank you for bringing these Patriots to AP again today.
Have a Beautiful Red Friday.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, did you write that, yorkie? And what a wonderful illustration, as well. I am guessing you found the picture and wrote the poem ‘for’ it. It is just beautiful.

Thank you so very much, Amy. I saved that graphic for Memorial Day Weekend Friday, and wrote the poem this morning.

You betcha Amy. Just remember the camp meeting is always the middle of July. You see, the temperatures remind people of where they are headed if they don’t repent and come to Jesus. LOL

I heard someplace the other day that the Negro Spirituals are all written for the black keys. I had never picked up on that before. Did you ever hear that? It explains the sadness of their songs.

May this weekend be one of joy in family and remembrance of those who thought enough of America to defend her.
