The two best steaks I ever had were at Gibson’s in Chicago and at Wolf’s Lodge in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Hard for me to admit that, being a native of Omaha, which is rightfully renowned for its steaks. :-)

Le Bernadin and Daniel definitely deserve inclusion. Momofuku, on the other hand, has to be the most overrated restaurant in North America, as I’ve had better meals at casino sushi bars.
