I actually was given a gift to eat at one on the list: Le Bernardin (New York).
Best seafood I ever ate. Thank God I wasn’t picking up the hallucinatory check!

I’ll go with Anthony Bourdain’s choices (well, his mainstream choices - I don’t eat ‘odd bits’).

This list is bogus! It doesn't include:
- The Owl Cafe in San Antonio, NM, home of the world's best green chile burger
- Tortilla Flat in Tortilla Flat, Ariz., which serves the best chile that can be had in a restaurant
- Junior's Italian Restaurnt in Colchester, Vt.
- Tommy's, at Beverly & Rampart in Los Angeles, famous for their double chile cheese burgers
- Chano's burrito stand on Figueroa in Los Angeles, which is always jammed with USC students

I did not see two from Paris , The Tour, and Maxim’s.
Is Maxim’s still around? At one time that was the place in Paris to have dinner and really see the elite.
