'nuff said.
I figured I would have been to at least one of them. Jeez. I am such a hick.
Lemme guess. 2 or 3 in New York, a couple in California, 1 in Miami and the rest are in other countries?
Not one of them is in Fort Wayne, IN!
Shocking!
I actually was given a gift to eat at one on the list: Le Bernardin (New York).
Best seafood I ever ate. Thank God I wasn’t picking up the hallucinatory check!
What? No TGI Friday?
I’ll go with Anthony Bourdain’s choices (well, his mainstream choices - I don’t eat ‘odd bits’).
They left off Xochimilco in southwest Detroit.
And El Taquito in Dallas.
You’re a little off subby.
Turns out:
5 in New Yawk
1 in California
1 in Chicago
The rest outside the US. What-ev.
Which one has the best chicken fried steak?
#1 doesn't even have tablecloths. What BS!
ML/NJ
This can’t be right.
They didn’t include Corky’s BBQ in Memphis!
Bogus list...
No Trail Rider Pizza in Tijeras, no K&I Diner in Southwest Albuquerque, no Owl Bar in San Antonio, NM.
I am a Gates KC guy myself. Arther Bryants is alright too.
Of course it’s bogus! There isn’t one restaurant in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on that list. I can think of at least a half dozen BA restaurants that should be on that list.
Take a look at the food at Norma. A course is one bite.
Waffle House didn’t make the list?
And none of our fine restaurants here in La Crosse made it????
Not even the "Hungry Peddler"?????
Best breakfast in town is here!
It has:
Fresh tripe
A sheep's ankle joint
A block of sharp cheddar cheese
Cold, whole, raw milk
Wheat bread toasted
Lima beans
Collard greens
Brussels Sprouts in butter and garlic
and of course, a liter (or two) of beer!
Sheeeeeesh.....what do we have to do to get picked???
