I think you’re right. They can distort this as the Republican fatcats protecting their plutocrat banker buddies. There’s no other reason Reid would have allowed this vote if that weren’t the case. He was just looking for an election issue.
Reid’s plan is to keep having votes and allowing the story to be that the repubs are blocking reform.
