I had the pleasure of taking my daughter to the cast album signing of the score to “The Producers” at Tower Records in NYC. The signers were Brooks, Matthew Broderick and a very cranky Nathan Lane.
I honestly think I’ve never seen a happier person than Mel Brooks was arriving for that crowd.
Congrats Mel, you really deserve your star!
