That's what I keep wondering about people stuck in god foresaken Europe...how the heck are they ever going to afford it?? With hotel and food it's got to be a minimum of $400 a day for two.

Yeah, costly for two.
Good thing I am by myself and in my Club, nonetheless, running me nearly 150 dollars a day for my room and meals. Hotel rooms in London, like a Marriott, will run anywhere between 150 - 500 (or more) dollars a day, then you add the cost of meals.
