Larry King and wife Shawn Southwick are calling it quits. Each filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court Wednesday citing "irreconcilable differences," TMZ reports.

CNN talk show host Larry King allegedly had an affair with his wife Shawn Southwick’s younger sister Shannon Engemann, according to a story published in the new issue of the National Enquirer.
The tabloid claims Larry spent over a million dollar to put up Shannon at the swank Beverly Hills Hotel and bought her expensive gifts including a car.
Shawn’s 45 year-old sister Shannon reportedly told a friend “I had sex with Larry and he bought me an expensive car.”
“Shawn said she also discovered that Larry had spent $1.5 million to put up Shannon at the swank Beverly Hills Hotel for 18 months. Shawn was furious! She said that she wouldn’t have felt so crazy if she’d caught Larry fooling around with a stranger. The fact that he’s cheating with her sister has made it so much worse.”.
When Shawn learned about her husband’s illicit affair, she took a little revenge - by having an affair herself.
Back in November 2008, the Enquirer claimed Shawn cheated on Larry with a 29 year-old aspiring actor. According to their sources, Larry’s clandestine affair triggered Shawn’s relationship with Hector Penate - a B-list actor who also serves as their son’s baseball coach. King, 75, has been married to Shawn, 49, his seventh wife, for more than 11 years and they have two children together. Rumors of a troubled marriage began back in 2007 when the couple was involved in public screaming fight in Beverly Hills - during which Shawn ran out and down the street, with Larry yelling as he ran after her.
During his marriage to Anne, he had a relationship with an unnamed lady, followed by a six-month affair with the Queen's cousin, Mary Shelton , and most likely more unamed women, before starting a relationship with Jane Seymour. There were also rumours about his relationships with several other women during various marriages, including the notorious Elizabeth Wyatt; Anne Bassett; Katherine Willoughby, Duchess of Suffolk; and his own son's widow, Mary Howard, Duchess of Richmond and Somerset
