In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Sports Illustrated still finds a way to put him on the cover like they did a few years ago when Zach Johnson won. I'd be surprised if they didn't. And in the article they'll be echoing Tiger and ludicrously comparing Tiger's "comeback" to Hogan's in 1950.

Just another reason to root for TW’s opponents. Comparing his self-inflicted sabbatical from golf to what happened to Hogan is repulsive. But I'm not surprised in the least he would make the comparison. It's the template he and his handlers are pushing, and the media is dutifully going along with.
