“Typical behavior of Mitt Romney supporters. If Romney is President, he will allow these crimes to continue.”
SIR WHY DO YOU SLANDER ME.
You wouldn't recognize exaggeration and fantasies if they hit you in the butt, resty....if you could, you wouldn't be on here defending the mormon sect.
The mormon faith is based on lies from a horndog, charlatan conman and you fell for it.
LOL...you obviously aren't a young, nubile, goodlooking woman...THEY don't have any problems getting visitors! ;)
Ok, she felt he was a creep and yet she went into the laundry room with him. Why is a single guy a home teacher for a single gal anyway? Shouldn’t there be some discretion here?
Ya Ya!
Bearer of false witness
Yea, that works out well. My cousin's private meeting destroyed her family.
So, are you saying you ARE a " young, nubile, goodlooking woman??
That isn't what you have been saying for the past three or four years here.
Interesting admission that lds is not build on Jesus Christ.
In addition, the young man had free will to harass the young woman but she did not have the free will to get rid of him. So does that mean only men get "free will" in lds?
Interesting, when mormonism is brought up, second only to polygamy is the term "Lying for the Lord"
“Anyone who would refuse the “home teachers” (or visiting teachers) entry would be immediately reported to the bishop.”
No one has ever given me any problem for doing this. I have had VTs and HTs over the years that I have found especially obnoxious and refused to allow them to come to my house. Wouldn’t even let them in the door when they tried to visit. They haven’t pulled my temple recommend yet for this, or my “take no crap” attitude. Who knows what will happen in the future, though. LOL! Take care and God bless!
Do you know that your refusal to allow them to come into your house was reported to the bishop?
That was my point. I believe you are a member of a very small minority who would refuse entry to the home teachers.
Absolutely true. In fact, I’ve never even heard of something like these outlandish claims. This guy was nutty, but I have seen nuts everywhere, and in just about every denomination and culture I have seen and gotten to know very many. This guy was sick, and I hope he gets help if mentally incapable of making decisions, or the book tossed at him if he did it with full understanding, or both.
But addressing your post, who has ever heard of Home Teachers being allowed to come in at anytime for any reason. That’s asinine and unsubstantiated.
And, I may add, stalking and kidnapping happen on other campuses, this is not exceptional (sadly) in America because it’s BYU, it’s exceptional because this guy was a nut, and I mean that as kindly as possible.
I am sure that it was, LOL! No one ever said anything about it though. I have had many wonderful ones, and I have had some weird ones over the years. I deal with enough weirdness in my line of work, and I don’t need any “extracurricular” weirdness. This is what I would tell my Bishop if ever confronted with it. LOL!
I absolutely agree with you! VT and HTs have to arrange an appointment. This young lady felt uncomfortable and didn’t listen to her gut. She should have gone to her Bishop ASAP. Every religion and culture has their nutjobs!
The LDS faith is based on free will

Au contraire, dear Nana! Being LDS has never stopped me from what I want to do. Neither does it stop my daughters!
I’d have at least had a friend with me, and possibly called the police, not the bishop! Unless you’re referring to her asking for an assignment change. I had a roommate who was from a BYU school (summer intern where I was living), he was from Canada, and I suspect crazy. Liked to design “fireworks,” whatever, and was talking about marriage (and moving to our locale) to a girl who he had one courtesy date with (I didn’t know it was only one date by the way he was talking).
I talked to her and found out it was just a date, and not ready for marriage, and I told her about it. I told my landlord about his activities, and I contacted the state about his “Fireworks.” He soon moved out, and I’m glad. He gave me the creeps and I was not about to go silently into the night, lol.
At no point did I have to talk to the bishop or any ecclesiastical leader for clearance of anything, I thought he was dangerous (as all behavior evidenced it) and he was. (He sold chemicals and suff which he stocked in our apartment too).
No,I meant telling the Bishop about the situation and demanding a change. I definately would not be afraid to call the police if need be. Sounds as you and your friend came way too close for comfort.
The Bishop meets privately with members all the time during Sunday meetings.
Yea, that works out well. My cousin’s private meeting destroyed her family.
ya ya ya
