Every Mormon missionaries will openly teach a Methodist, Baptist, or Presbyterian that his/her church is not true.

I’m an academic. Cult is a proper term, academically.
But for general use, scam, con, and scheme are very accurate and carry more of the spirit of the LDS.
Still a little too straight forward with the slight of hand bit, but that will come with experience.

I don’t recall mentioning false Christs. Maybe that was someone else? I was, however, talking about defending the LDS church. Perhaps you think the LDS church worships a false Christ? That is something I’ve heard time and time again, but they do worship the Father in the name of the Son, the very Son in the King James Bible. Do you worship a different Christ? If the two Christs we are referring to are from the same Bible, they are undoubtedly the same Christ. Your interpretation may be different, but those prophets all wrote about the same Christ in the Bible.
It is your opinion that I have no “grasp” on the Bible or Christianity. You may believe that, but who says that everything you say is correct? I’d hate to bring this up AGAIN, but remember the interpretation factor. Just because someone interprets the Bible different than you do, doesn’t mean they are always wrong, no matter what. There is a possibility that you are wrong, too.
You are correct in that just because Latter Day Saints think they are Christians, it does not make it so. Just because you think they are not Christians, however, does not make it so, either. It could be true, it could not. You have no authority over me in this argument, and I have none over you in this argument. Neither of us will always be right.
I don’t know what you mean by “True Christians don’t let people be dragged into Hell without a fight...” Are you saying you don’t think the LDS church does? I assure you, the LDS church believes whole-heartedly in the gift of repentance. I think I remember you being the one that claimed yourself as “exmormon” (correct me if I’m wrong). Maybe you were offended by a bishop or some other leader in the church? Is that why you left? No one is perfect; not even bishops or church leaders, in any church. We can only claim our Savior as perfect. I hope you would agree. Just because a leader makes a mistake doesn’t mean the whole church is wrong. I mean, the Catholic church had some pretty deranged priests, but does that mean the Catholic church is untrue? No. It only means those priests are imperfect. This whole issue with church leadership may not even be your case; I was just gathering that you might be bitter from your “dragged into Hell without a fight” comment. Ex-communication is not a punishment; it is only a guide to help YOU repent, so YOU can be happy, not for anyone else to benefit from.
Your own Prophet Bruce R. McConkie said that the LDS do not worship the same Christ as the True historic Christian faiths. It has been posted here numerous times.

I do love how you once again assume that Reaganaut was ex communicated, and that being 'offended' is the only reason to leave the LDS.

Thank you very much for complimenting me, however, I must say that the only trainer I had is Christ himself. He gave me the brain I used in my personal study and the experiences I’ve had in my life, if you can accept that. I didn’t intentionally change the subject. I apologize if I made you feel unheard. The “trash talk,” was that in a separate post? I probably just didn’t see it if that’s the case. HAHA, that’s all you can say? “the inevitable retreat”? I mean, really, the only reason I got on here was to read the article about Stetson Hallam, then I thought I’d look at the comments to get further information. I do regret being sucked into debating with all of you for hours, wasting my time, and also yours. I know I have much better things to do than to debate with people who are stuck in their beliefs and think they are right no matter what. I do sincerely wish the best for you all, regardless of the things you have said tonight. While I perceive that most of you do not have the best intentions with your debating (note: not an assumption, a perception, rather) I will let you continue to sit online and debate amongst yourselves. Chances are, you all have contradicting views on different points of the Bible, so I will let you quarrel. I have better things to do.
