God doesn’t care if I used archaic English or not, He cares that I talk to Him sincerely, it is the attitude not the words.

Heck, in emergencies I've even called Him "Dude" and He didn't get mad.

Look, i did my Basic Combat Training in the Army with a bunch of Mormons from Utah and a bunch of Sicilians from Brooklyn.

First time I'd ever met Mormons, but Fur Shur I already knew about the Sicilians (lived next door to them).

Did you know there was no conflict between the two groups. Some of the Sicilian guys had close relatives in federal prison. I doubt the Mormons knew prisons existed.

All the bestest bunches of guys in the world. Wouldn't mess with any of them, or all of them. You betcha!

Now, a "cabal" ~ I presume an anti-Mormon Cabal?

Naw, not likely. Got a cousin whose part of one of those Mormon bunches that the LDS broke away from (he says), so why would I be anti?

I haven't posted on the religion/LDS threads for almost two years now (out of respect for a dear LDS friend of mine on this forum), and today I find myself pinged by this lunatic, who once stalked me on a Palin thread until the mod sent him scurrying back to the religion forum.

LoL. I have a friend (a pretty new Christian) who complains that I am too formal sometimes, she talks to God like she talks to her friends. Sincere and casual. I once heard her pray “road trip!”, LOL.

I seriously doubt He was angry about that.
