Police tried to subdue the animal by hitting him several times with a baton, but the dog was unaffected, and then tried to attack the officers.

One officer fired his weapon, but the dog was not hit and fled.

Officers tracked the dog to a park near St. Joseph Avenue and Livingston Drive, where it again lunged at the officers.

Two officers fired their weapons, killing the animal.

Animal Control then took possession of the dog's body.

Then, just like in Friday the 13th, the animal lunged off the guerney and snapped at the Animal Control officers.

The officers fired their pistols several times into the dog's head.

There was silence.

The animal then got up again, and began biting one of the officers.

The officer took a baseball bat and began beating the animal until it succumbed.

They put the dog into their vehicle. The drove for a few minutes.

One of the officers felt a warm breath on his neck.

He turned to see glowing eyes, and a gaping mouth.
