One of three teens convicted of manslaughter in the killing of Seattle's beloved "Tuba Man" has been charged in the robbery of another youth, and prosecutors plan to seek an exceptional sentence if he is convicted.
The youth, 16, who was arrested by Seattle police near his home Wednesday morning, is to be arraigned in King County Juvenile Court on Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree robbery stemming from a January incident in which a youth was robbed of his wallet and music player outside the Garfield Teen Life Center.
The Seattle Times is not naming the teen because he has been charged as a juvenile.

I lived across the street from Seattle Center for 12 years and couldn't venture a guess how many times I drifted off to sleep listening to Ed sit in front of the Seattle Opera, belting away at Sousa or - his favorite - The Ride Of The Valkyries.
Sometimes he just sat and played scales.
I talked to him several times over the years: he was a nice old loon who enjoyed playing the tuba, and played it pretty well....I simply can't believe this happened. It's so very sad.
And now, at least one of the little sons of bitches who MURDERED him are out committing new crimes.
....
I understand your feelings. An incredibly sad story indeed.
To feel remorse, and resolve yourself to rejoin humanity, you must have a soul and conscience.
This kid has demonstrably neither.
A juvenile great white shark still has teeth and is still a very efficient predator. It feeds because nature says eat or die. But these subhumans choose to engage the reptilian hemisphere of their underdeveloped brains at will.
I’ve stopped watching Law and Order because I don’t like being lectured to by leftists.
However, I do remember an episode years ago that bothered me, about a young girl that murdered a boy and had libs take up her cause because she wasn’t responsible, when the cops knew she was a cold blooded killer.
As the episode ended, you understood she would do it again.
I don’t want to go back to the days of the past where kids were hung for stealing. But I can’t ever see letting kids who murder out into society. Heck, I don’t think anyone who ever purposely murders should ever be out, unless it was in true self defense.
When kids do “Pack Crimes”
Hit them with a ton of bricks.
They’ll do it again...
Rest in Peace, Ed:
