That's because He was right to do it! He gave His reasons for His actions and the Chief Priests were afraid to physically confront Him... because He was right. They tried to call Him out... but failed.

Actually, there was a whole episode with the temple guards wherein Jesus was heard to scream “don't Tase me bro”, but one of the early Popes had it removed from scripture. It's coming out in the next Tom Hanks revelation.

Sorry if that's irreverent, but this revisionism just rankles. The original Word is quite miraculous enough without all these attempts to find new truth.

The temple guard was a squad of priests. The priests benefitted from the market. So what were they doing?
Maybe Jesus had the legal right to do what he did, not just a moral right.
