Crystal Bowersox

Crystal's choice is Melissa Etheridge's "Come To My Window". Much livelier than Casey's performance. She's wearing the Neil Young harmonica retainer-thing around her head, strumming acoustic guitar. Pretty good.

Randy: I did not love the arrangement. What I did like though was your vocal. You rose above it (the arrangment). Good choice.

Ellen: Good song choice. Melissa would be very proud of you.

Kara: I did agree with the guys (Ellen?) You did get lost in the arrangment. You're capable of a moment [and I hope you have one later in the show]

Simon: Not the most stunning version of the song we're ever going to hear. But you haven't compromised yourself as an artist. You came out and picked a song that was you. (liked it)

Thought Crystal was great tonight. Loved her performance.

Liked Casey’s performance, he sounded great, but not a very good song choice. A little too sleepy for this point of the competition.

OK when he said he was singing this I cringed and fully expected Off-Key LEE at his pitchy worst. And he pleasantly surprised me by slaying that song! Great job! Only nitpick was the last note - HE WENT WAY OFF KEY ON THAT.

First Round - 1. Lee, 2. Crystal, 3. Casey
