No one said he can't sing. I've actually liked a couple of his performances.

Nobody who's been through a judges' save option on that show is smug. He knows he's in trouble every week...yet he comes out and sings his ass off.

So what? They do the same for Crystal Bowersox, who is annoyingly lippy and deserves to win. They call her "Mama Sox." Why not complain about that?
