It seems that the NCAA usually lets the teams run hard and fast (it just happens that this favors Duke because of their depth) and usually calls 3 or 4 more fouls against Dukes opponent. Once the teams start getting tired and Duke is up by a dozen or so, the refs will cal a few non-possesson changing fouls against Duke to even up the numbers and Duke wins. Normal Duke game.
‘course they let a blatant one against Duke go ( hard hit to the shooting arm ) late in the half. He made it, though. I guess the refs figured it would go in, so why bother.
