Instead of Attacking your Congressman or Us Senator, go after their campaign contributors.
www.Opensecrets.org has the top contributors to your Congressman or Senator. Write them letters telling them to stop contributing to the Democrats as they are supporting a loss of individual liberty and assisting in the financial melt-down of America.
Place those same postings\letters on their company's Facebook page. Put pressure on the contributor and Boycott their businesses!
Heres another thing to go after. According to my previous post. The most Repulican audience the networks have is network news.

Leftist nutbags in general have no money to spend especially on the sponsors of Glenn Beck so it doesn’t matter. We the workers of the US have money and if we starve the jag offs that contribute to Democrats it will go farther than a bunch of hippies and college kids can IMHO.
How can we boycott unions, Black Panthers, ACORN, etc?
I’d love to boycott GE but they’ll still get my money by way of steel products or some type of food product without my knowledge.
That’s the problem with boycotts.
Largest corporate contributors to the Democrat party:
1) Saban Capital Group, founded by Haim Saban. The company donated $10.8 million to the Democrats and $1.1 million to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Its main interests are Television networks Univision, TeleFutura, and Galavisión. Bezeq The Israel Telecommunications Corp., Ltd., Saban Music Group, Saban Entertainment Group, and Saban Ventures.
2) The second largest contributor for the cycle was Fred Eychaner who owns Newsweb Corp. and donated $7.39 million. Newsweb is a publisher of ethnic and alternative newspapers in the United States, based in Chicago, Illinois. The company also owns several radio stations in the Chicago area and a television station in Sterling, Colorado.
3) Third is Steve Bing of Shangri-La Entertainment who donated $6.7 million. An organization with interests in property, construction, entertainment, and music.
Companies that are major contributors to the Democratic Party for the 2008 election cycle include:
Goldman Sachs $827,700
JPMorgan Chase & Co $296,744
Bain Capital $293,200
Renaissance Technologies $291,000
Akt Development $283,200
Weitz & Luxenberg $277,650
In our market, metro Detroit, Logan’s Roadhouse still advertises on Glenn Beck. Support them.
Start with GE - light bulbs, appliances, vacuums, mortages, and anything else they make. Also NBC & MSNBC’s advertisers.
CITGO gasoline owned by the Venezula Gov and Hugo Chav-ass.
I love the Boycott idea and there should be a permanent thread and ongoing list.
There should also be list of conservative companies to support.
Unions? Look for the union label, and don’t buy.
Actually, I’ve been boycotting the UAW for a long time, buying nice American-built Hondas, Toyotas and Nissans. Sure top-management and a lot of the shareholders hail from the Land of the Rising Sun, but if one feels bad about that, one can by stock.
I used to be a union employee who made Toyota parts just a few steps away from a line that made parts for Cadillacs.
The purchase of advertising spots in programming is no longer based on ratings.. Glenn Beck’s program is proof of that. Avoiding advertising on Beck is a direct result of Obama’s “Chicago-style” tactics where corporations/advertisers are held hostage out of fear of upsetting the Gov’t resulting in potential denial of “bail out” money, getting audited by the gun-toting IRS, etc... This is the media’s current mindset (except for Fox), which explains their level of complicity with the Obama Admin and our leftist Congress. This is the classic Marxist revolution syndrome where taking hostages is the Government’s method of control. The Gov’t is even using this tactic on we citizens by labeling us as “violent”and making us feel threatened simply when we disagree.
Government takeover of student loans and our health care has nothing at all to do with money or the economy. It’s just one more avenue the Marxists in charge can use to hold us hostage.. Want to go to school? “Do as WE say or else no loan for you..” Do you want to live? “Do as WE say or else..”
It’s all about increased Gov’t control, ensuring the survival of the “transformed (Marxist)” America Obama promised for us during his campaign.
“Used to be” - what happened?
Shop closed.
I’m guessing your interests and those of the union bosses weren’t quite congruent.
I really don’t know, we never really talked about politics in my shop. The UAW picketed every few years in attempts to get us to switch from AFL-CIO to UAW.
In the end, both lost when the company flooded the shop with illegals and cut everyone’s hours to part time. The doors were locked less than 6 months later.
Ahh well. I’m sorry you lost a paycheck. I’ll not rub any salt in the wound with the obvious remarks.
