Since I grew up on that hot melting cheese on the roof of my mouth, flavored with oregano and hot pepper, floppy thin pizza, there isn’t much else around that tastes like it. Sure as hell there isn’t anything around here in FL that is anywhere near as good. Chicago deep dish is OK but its just so, so. We have to suffer through PH, Hungry Howies and Ci Ci’s locally. Even the Brooklyn Pizza isn’t the same as it was back in the 50’s -60’s. The good Brooklyn Pizzerias are long gone by now, the old Italians sold the businesses and moved to Florida years ago.
