all convenience type outlets need multiple 12 gauge charges placed above the customer area pointing down with a trigger mechanism wired to a button on the floor of the cashiers side of the counter....

It would probably cost too much or take up too much space (1/2 of a parking spot, possibly?), but I dont see why these stores can’t make all customers go thru 2 separate doors before they make it into the store.

When a robbery occurs, the clerk could press a button that would lock the outside door once they have opened the inside door, thus locking them inside before the police arrives.

I would be careful in the placement of the button, It could kill off some business.
