We baby boomers are feeling our years tonight.

That era of America was important to where we are. Pioneers and settlers and adventurers heading west: those were brave people and we idolized them in our youth. Times have certainly changed.
But their courage is imbedded in us boomers. Those who seek to take away our freeedoms, beware! We’ve still got a little bit of the colonists and the pioneers in us.
Yep. I can’t recall any actor’s death making me feel this sad. Such was the impact his perfomance as Davy Crockett made on me.
