They are without doubt the most serious omission. You don’t have a sense of the late 1960s without Hanky Panky, I Think We’re Alone Now, Mony Mony, Crimson and Clover, Crystal Blue Persuasion, Sweet Cherry Wine, Gettin Together, Draggin the Line.

I Think We’re Alone Now - best ever young teen love song from the teen point of view.
First band to knock the Beatles from the weekly No. 1 position on Top 40.
Plus, he had the obligatory drinking and drugging songs.
