Fifty-one Vikings...just stood there and took the blow to the head (what they kinda suggest)? It’s hard for me to buy this story. Vikings would have fought to the end...unless they screwed up something and took the blame for failure, perhaps? Whatever the story is, I'm sure it would be an interesting read. I'm wondering about them being somehow taken prisoner, and were executed all together. No heads found? would suggest the heads were sent someplace else. Someone sending a message I suppose?

No heads found? How did they analyze the teeth and determine they were killed by a blow to the head?
