Lake Erie is a very big, very shallow body of water. Light reflects off water. For some reason it bends in a peculiar fashion over this body of water. I remember stories about the Cleveland skyline appearing in the sky to observers along the north (Canadian) shoreline. At that point the lake is about 50 miles wide and Cleveland is way over the horizon. If you look long enough, you can probably see anything there.

I’ve always liked RC planes/helis. I’ve participated to varying degrees in the hobby over the years.
Over the last 10 years, there have been incredible advances in RC vehicles, especially in the field of batteries/electric power systems and component miniaturization.
It is so trivial to build a glowing/flashing/pulsing/whatever RC UFO that it isn’t funny. Yet no one ever mentions this in any of these stupid “UFO” spotted news articles. I don’t know if it is due to ignorance or because of their desire for sensationalism.
That being said, I’ve personally seen two UFOs. No spaceships or aliens, but I definitely saw something in the sky that was an unidentifiable flying object. Once was with a group of friends, and once was with my wife. And these weren’t some cheesy hanging in the sky type of lights, they were real deal UFOs.
I believe in aliens because statistics force me to. I don’t believe aliens visit us, because I can’t think of a damn reason why an inter-galactic being would have more than a passing interest in us, our activities, or any materials present on Earth.

Yes it's true, there have been odd objects over Lake Erie, even one of the freepers, (who will receive this ping), personally told me of an object he/she saw..
Pinging the unidentified aerial phenomena list (ufo) ..
May 8, 1950-This is one of the most famous UFO pictures ever taken.
Photographed by Paul Trent, and first witnessed by his wife.
They were published in a local newspaper in McMinnville, Oregon.
Shortly thereafter, the Trent photos were published in Life magazine edition of June 26, 1950.
The rest is history.
(These photos have been deemed authentic for over 50 years.)
Those interested in the uap/ufo ping list, please Freepmail
Quix, DCPatriot and LasVegasDave (freepmail works best)
if you would like your name added to the list.
( Approximately 150+ freepers are currently on the ping list ).

A local man said he spotted a UFO and he believes it's proof we're not alone. "Absolutely nothing we have on this earth even looks like that...Seeing a visual phenomenon never seen before is not evidence that we are not alone.
Even being probed anally by aliens is not evidence considering that people who have taken the ancient drug ayahuasca (dimethyltryptamine in combination with an MAOI) in Africa, South America, or New Mexico (it's legal there) as a religious sacrament have experienced alien abduction and those always fun "anal probes."
Are we alone? I doubt it. Does this prove we are not alone? I doubt it.

I love the "reasoning" of the "observers."
I see a moving object up in the air that I can't identify.
Therefore, it is a space craft piloted by beings from another world.
