I am not rejoicing that Cameron lost. I didn’t like the hamfisted message of his film and of the two, I prefer a story that highlights the sacrifices made by the members of our military. But in terms of an accomplishment, Avatar lost to a comparatively ordinary film. Meh.

Yeah I am glad that Katheryn cleaned his clock. He looked stunned, she gave an awesome speech, seems like a classy lady. Glad that she thanked the troops

Avatar is too cartoony and has a whacked out message, which the kids are eating up.

It is surprising that a war movie, about a current war, would win.

Go figure.

Maybe what liberal Hollywood is trying to do right now by giving the award to the “Hurt Locker” is trying to win back most of the nation which is conservative and respects those who are in union or who have served.
