When I read a News Item about changing which Founder appears on our Currency, I hope the Item will urge DELETING Hamilton from the $10 Bill.
Hamilton was our Nation's 1st Progressive! He spent his career striving against the TENTH Amendment. Twas Hamilton, that drove Washington to march against the "Whiskey Rebellion" farmers.
Yes, I’ve NEVER heard of that. It’s quite a claim.
I found many of Hamilton’s inputs at the constitutional convention had little in common with his writings in the Federalists. I’ve wondered if he offered the ideas simply to say that they were considered and rejected.
Hamilton worked his way to the top of history, overcoming incredible setbacks. Please tell me who else had such a successful climb? His work in the Treasury greatly benefitted the nation. He deserves his place.
If any face were to be dropped from our currency, I’d keep Grant and drop Jackson.
It is also quite the truth. In fact, there is no dispute about it. Here is a wiki.answers article that may help you:
Why did Hamilton leave the constitutional convention?
Now why are you replying to thread postings from 2010?
I'm willing to bet that a removed Hamilton results in an added Cesar Chavez. A removed Grant results in an added Martin Luther King, Jr. A removed Jackson results in an added Hillary Clinton (eventually).

And get FDR off the dime.
