Do you really think after the Church hearings, the publicity regarding Hoover's files on politicians, the incredible micromanagement that the oversight committees do on the Intelligence Community that some federal employee now would keep blackmail files on politicians? When the federal employee has everything to lose if he or she is caught. Would "allied" politicians protect them? I think not!

Again tell me how would the data be collected?
How would you task other employees to collect it?
How would you spend the money or get the time on technical collection systems to do it?
How would you do these things and not immediately get caught?

This was posted some time ago here on FR.
A cop got slapped down fast by his superiors when he tried to do a criminal database search on Zero. And you know something, his superiors were right! That database is not there for his personal use. It's no different for CIA, NSA, FBI, etc personnel.
