Compared to a crashed alien ship from another planet or galaxy, your suggestion is pretty boring.

Hard to tell from the photo, but looks a little like a Lockheed D-21 drone. We shot a lot of those into mongolia back in the day, from piggyback SR-71s. In his book, Ben Rich described a Russian scientist handing him a piece of one found somewhere in Asia.
