I think God cares more of what one does to ammend ones action than the action itself.
Not saying that I have ever “cheated on my spouse, nor have I betrayed the trust of anyone.” either.
In the Catholic religion, there are levels of sin, venial and mortal. Mortal is the more serious, such as murder, adultery. Venial is the less serious, such as stealing a 50 cent candy bar.
