I would like to hear or um Read!
I only fooled with one once and it didn't work. I did have a weird experience with one once even though I never touched it and it was still in the box!!!
I have told of some of the experiences in other posts on this thread. Since you have asked, I will go into more detail.
Back in 1976 my wife dragged me to one of her friends' house for what some folks consider a party. About six women started messing around with a Ouija board, so I went to the other room in order to separate myself from the stupidity of the entertainment. The ladies were pretty loud, and I could overhear what they were saying. After a time I noticed that the responses they were getting from that "toy" did not sound like anything any of those ladies would know, nor were they framed in a manner characteristic of any of them. By the time I left that evening I was pretty sure that something unusual had occured.
I also became envolved with those sessions when we tinkered with the Ouija board in subsequent meetings. This became rather regular for about two years. As we spent more time with this, smaller groups of people could work the board, and even certain individuals could do it alone. We learned that the entities preferred that you call them a guide.
There were several instances of the group being told via the board what absent members were doing at the time; and, those tellings were accurate. There was also an instance when an absent member experienced a close call that could have resulted in injury, and this also turned out to be accurate and in real time.
Our group split, with another taking up their own board. We were able to send messages through our guide to them through their guide, word-for-word and with the same spellings. We conducted such a communications tests in real time over a distance of two hundred miles. There were no cell phones in those days and nobody in either group used a land line during the session.
Eventually I became capable of operating the pointer with no assistance, and even conducted these sessions in private. It seems that the connection to that realm improves with practice. That is when the horrific dreams started. It seemed in those dreams that something was trying to push me "out", presumably to gain direct control. It took some serious prayer to eliminate this percieved threat.
I am now fairly sensitive to things that don't seem normal. I was visited by my ex-wife's grandmother in a dream the night she died. She was inflicting torment upon me, demanding to know why I had rejected her "baby". The next morning my ex-wife called to tell me of her grandsmother's passing. A few years later I was tormented in my sleep by my ex-wife's father. He demanded to know the same thing. The next morning my ex-wife called to notify me of her father's passing.
The spirit world is very real. There is a life after death. I do not prescribe to any particular religion so much any longer, yet I know that sprituality is just as real as our world. (Assuming that this is real.) I am completely aware that there is great danger in that unkown world, and only through the efforts of things unseen are we safe.
