In post #68, that’s the first album that I bought and it came in a mono and a stereo version back then. I bought the stereo one. I bought it in 1964 and it was the first album put out for the Beatles here in America (at least the first legitimate one...).

This album was not the U.K. version and so, you won’t find this particular “album” in this Beatles collection (this box set)...

"Meet the Beatles " on Capitol was available in stereo but it was actually the second Beatles album to be released in the U.S.

VeeJay records released "Introducing the Beatles" 10 days before.

I think the Veejay record had more of the "older" (at that time) Beatles recordings that were popular in the U.K, such as Please Please Me.
