Despite the apparent resistance to chemo, my Uncle went in for another round of radiation and chemo (different stuff). While the doctors were not particularly optimistic, the CAT scan results in today indicate the tumor in his hip is gone, as are the other metastases, and there is only a tiny remnant of the tumor left in his brain.
He has another treatment of chemo left.
