I have lots of room on my PC. I thought that I was doing something right.
When my last computer died, there were several things lost. I did have a lot on CDs but there were files that I either had not copied or were corrupted.
Son is going to see if he can find a way to get to the info. He will probably talk to some of the computer geeks that he works with before he comes. Hopefully he will get enough help to do something.
I have unplugged the dead drive and am working off of the portable backup and a flash drive.

Not really .... the internet has really opened lots of doors for all of us.
