On the night before Valentine's Day
We would punch out Valentines from a sheet.
(Like the one above).
I remember the hours spent,
Making sure that I would chose and address the right card
For the right student.
The next day, we would all drop those special cards
Into our classmate's pretty boxes.
And, I made sure that no boy
Would get a card with the word "love" on it!
LOL, I remember.
I remember! I also remember getting to put our own little valentines in envelopes and sending them to whomever we wanted to. I do not remember what young grade that was. That was when we could address to boys and girls. And if there was a little boy we “liked”, we would be sure to send one to him. Does anyone remember that?
Good Morning!! Good Morning!! Yes, it’s already Wednesday! I am taking time to back track and read through from Valentine’s Day forward.
I am finding that I am like a “ one-man dog”! I think they used to say a Chow Dog was a “ One Man Dog”.! LOL...call me one tracked Chow!
I have been “ hanging out” at the Eagle Cams and realize that I’ve not read or posted here at my “ home base”!
Multi tasking is getting harder for me.
Yorkie, I remember those decorated shoe boxes and Valentine’s Cards. Thanks for bringing back the great memories.
