Just curious.

My mother recently handed me a copy of “The life of Washington” written by Anna C Reed in 1842.

I haven’t started reading it yet but the information I’m getting is that in Reed’s time there were already attempts to change America into something other than what Washington and his contemporaries intended. As I understand it Reed attempts to correct the history that was already changing in her day.

I’m just wondering if you’ve read the book and what did you think of it?

Wow. Haven’t heard of this. How, exactly, was she attempting to change history?
