I believe that people's future lies in space. It's a matter of longterm survival; it's the only really new challege left. For those who don't get it, they probably think we should spend the money on global warming.

Look, there is no Constitutional mandate for Federal spending on space exploration unless national defense is involved. The nation is broke. If you think space exploration is a worthwhile use of taxpayer dollars, then offer your own contributions.
