I think the Cowboys are the team to beat right now. Defensively they’re flat out mean & nasty and have shown success at shutting down the west coast offense. Offensively they have a perfect balance and lately they’ve been dominant in the trenches on both sides of the ball. I’m hoping to see a big game from my fellow Div. 1AA Monmouth University Alum Miles Austin.
Chargers 21 Jets 10
I’ll take the well rested Chargers at home against the pesky Jets. I’m thinking that Sanchez might be forced into some mistakes in this one, which will be hard to overcome against a solid steady team like San Diego. With that said, I enjoy the Jets and wouldn't’t mind at all seeing them advance. I find Rex Ryan to be a sort of “entertaining type of character” just like his dad was.
