Depending on where he is living there are groups formed by Veterans for Veterans. Also he may have received a head injury [Traumatic Brain Injury](TBI for short) and there is a lot of problems connected with that as well. If so he may require meds to help get over the rough spots & help sleep.

I received my PTSD from a motorcycle accident,& now am listed as 100% disabled because of the other problems that have come on as a result of that. I work with a head injury support group & talk to 5&6 grade kids about head injuries.
