What really bothers me about Siobhan is what she said about the "scream" telling Ryan, she felt like she HAD to do it to stay in the competition...She's really missing her strengths if she thinks this kept her in the competition.

I just took (the coherent parts of) that as basically being "yeah, I played it 'safe' this week, because making the tour is so important, so I just went with what worked for me before."

Part of her appeal and charm is unpredictability, so she really does need to start mixing it up a bit and avoid getting "formula".

Definitely. I think Simon knows what he's talking about big time. She's not singing or arranging the songs to make them relevant. I mean WTF, they had 100 years of BB top 100 and all of them picked songs that were 20 years or older?

She has the ability and vocal range to blow the doors off just about any song, I mean she kicked ass on THINK! I listened to it enough times to know this girl has something special and it's not the scream. I think she's likes the throw backs because of her hippie dad.

The best thing Siobhan can do next week is a current song without the scream. A STRONG sounding vocal is all she needs. If she would go back and look and listen to Living For The City and sing a song that way, no one is going to touch her...Crystal is great, but she's a one trick, Lilith fair pony.
