His song is Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars". He's playing acoustic guitar. Starts off very quiet. Then gets louder, but it's like his voice is straining to keep up with it. Some sour notes.

Randy: I didn't like the song. Too rangey for you. You're more of a rocker and that's not a rock song.
Kara: You almost made the song unrecognizable in spots.
Simon: I have to disagree with Randy and Kara. I thought this was the best performance of the night. This guy is a naturally good singer. I still believe in you. I think you're going to do really well in this competition.
