Have you seen “Inglourious Basterds” yet? I liked it much more than I thought I would—once I accepted that the movie wasn’t about the Bastereds :) It’s a long movie too.
Did I just say “Bastereds”? LOL!
>>last Paige. Or did I forget someone? Paige is beautiful. But she sang Smile without smiling!!!!! Does she even listen to the lyrics?<<
It was like listening to Jackson Browne on a day when HE is feeling depressed.
LOLOL!
ROFL!!!!!!!
LOL!! I would actually want to hear that :)
And not one tear that I could see.
YES!
Maybe it sounds better in person.
I didn't think it was bad, just weird. Mike sang the third or fourth song tonight that was from a woman's point of view. And at times he sounded like a woman. Very odd.
Now those are tears :)
Or some of that Jamie Lee Curtis yogurt, LOL
I was on Kara's side tonight until her phony crying jag at the end.
>>Or some of that Jamie Lee Curtis yogurt, LOL <<
Better than that chick in the commercials that proudly declares her diarrhea...
Karas talent as a song writer, performer, is lost in her attempt to be Simons main squeeze......she is doing a disservice to the contestants, in my estimation...she is making this about her,,,not THEM (catty? perhaps...but the chick needs to act like a professional, not like a schoolgirl that is sitting next to the football Captain,.)
Her childish neurosis and need for attention, is SCREAMING even more than Paulas....and Paula had the lungs to scream with, if ya know what Im sayin ;-)
G’night BTW — I always love these threads!
You da man — da man with da plan. With da man plan.
Re: Shutter Island-It was really dragging for the first hour but then it picked up and got good so yeah, I guess I liked it.
Watched Dinner Impossible tonight and guess who was on it? None other than Anoop Desai! They were at Chapel Hill and had to prepare a gourmet dinner from food found in dorms. Anoop was still sporting the grunge look aand still looked out of place and awkward.
Oh, me too. I could have written that post. I don't know how many times I've seen that movie, and I always lose it there. I first saw it right before I had my own son.
LOL! I bet she doesn't even know who they were! Does it makes us cool that we watch American Idol and remember the Solid Gold Dancers?
I agree. As believable as a 17 year old singing about Trouble, a 16 year old with a mullet, and Todrick singing Queen. Oh. That last one is a bad example ;)
The judges were all more fun tonight. They must have heard me complain! :) But, hey, who needs comedy when I've got ya'll. Laughed all the way through the thread!
