His song is Kelly Clarkson's "Since You Been Gone", but it's a hip-hoppy version. Trying to make it his own, I guess.
Well it's his all right. Awful.
Ellen: Chorus was a little rough. Singing wasn't the greatest. But you took a chance. That's what we're looking for.
Randy: You know I'm a fan of yours right? It didn't even sound like the same song. You don't have to go all over the top to change the song.
Kara: You're a strong enough singer that you don't have to change the arrangement that much. You took a risk.
Simon: You came over like a dancer who was trying to sing. I'm all for taking risks if you can improve the original. But you murdered it. It was verging on stupid, what you just did.
